At GoRascal, our Loan Partners are true collaborators and problem solvers who drive the file forward while keeping every stakeholder informed and supported. You’ll act as the central point of contact across the loan lifecycle, proactively identifying potential roadblocks, managing timelines, and ensuring every file is clean, complete, and ready for submission.You’ll work side-by-side with top-producing loan officers to deliver high-touch service, guide borrowers with confidence, and create a clear and easy path to closing.ResponsibilitiesAccurately calculate income, assets, and structure loans in compliance with agency and investor guidelines. Stack and submit clean, complete files to underwriting.Proactively communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, underwriters, and attorneys. Provide timely, consistent updates to all parties—anticipating questions before they arise.Own your pipeline by following up on outstanding items, anticipating UW conditions and requesting needs from all parties to meet all deadlines, and keeping every file moving smoothly toward closing.Request and obtain loan conditions from borrowers with clear, supportive communication. Make it easy for borrowers to understand what’s needed and why.Partner with loan officers to ensure proper loan structuring and alignment with borrower goals. Raise red flags early and offer solutions.Deliver an exceptional borrower experience with a sense of urgency, empathy, and ownership. Treat every file as if it were your own home loan.Qualifications2+ years of experience as a Loan Processor, Loan Partner, Loan Officer Assistant, or Loan OfficerStrong understanding of agency guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA); broker channel experience preferredProficiency in DU, LP, and calculating income and assets across various borrower profilesHighly organized and dependable; you excel at juggling multiple files without losing attention to detailClear, concise, and warm communicator who keeps stakeholders informed without being promptedA proactive problem-solver who foresees potential delays and takes initiative to avoid themCustomer-obsessed with a passion for making the loan process easier, smoother, and more transparentLicensed MLO (or willingness to become licensed) is a plusWhat You’ll Love About This RoleBe a core part of a high-growth, mission-driven mortgage teamGain exposure to a wide variety of loan scenarios and borrower needsCollaborate with top-producing loan officers in a fast-moving, respectful environmentGrow your knowledge and become a true subject matter expert—one loan at a timeJoin a company that deeply values communication, ownership, and professional development
